This position is located in the Medical Department Activity (MEDDAC). Fort Drum, NY.
In this position you will administer, facilitate and maintain the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) equipment acquisition program. You will monitor Operation and Maintenance Defense (OMD) funds by tracking expenditures and accounting. You will administer coordinate and execute the equipment acquisition programs involving Capital Expense Equipment Program. You will coordinate with and assists the Property Book Officer in maintaining the supported activities property book in DMLSS (EM) in accordance with current regulations. You will catalog and identify all non-medical and medical items, and codes all transactions for input and review new or changed policies and regulations affecting Property Management and property activities

Experience required:

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: coordinating with supply and warehousing personnel to perform complete inventories; conducting investigations to determine causes of routine inventory discrepancies; utilizing automated supply systems to perform a wide variety of routine and complex supply transactions; providing technical guidance to others in executing a variety of inventory and supply functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-6 ).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
