In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, and dissemination of Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) communications tactics and products. Typical assignments include:
You qualify for this position at the GS-09 level (starting salary $49,765) if you possess the following:
One full year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level that demonstrates the following: 1) Writing news releases on routine matters; 2) Providing information to the public on agency programs; 3) Assisting with written products including internal and external news articles, news releases, fact sheets or brochures; and 4) Providing support to community outreach events.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
A combination of education and experience described above, which meets 100% of the qualification requirement.
