WHO MAY APPLY: All qualified Missouri traditional guard members and those eligible for enlistment, appointment or transfer into the Missouri Army National Guard.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air/Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - 2LT (O-2)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of military human resources that demonstrates skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit efficient communication; ability to write English in reports and presentation formats; ability to communicate clearly and effectively; skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; ability to assess body language and perceive emotional and/or distress levels; and skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material.
GS-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:Must possess at least one year of experience at the GS 09 grade level or equivalent that provided the ability to apply fundamental human resources management methods, principles, practices and standardized analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to advise on or resolve moderately complex, non-controversial or recurring recruitment and placement, voluntary and involuntary separation actions and various Army retirement actions, AGR Programs and policy issues; ability to advise and assist managers and employees; ability to apply rules and regulations; knowledge and ability to interpret manpower requirements. This experience must also include the ability to make informed judgements and knowledge of the organizational structure of the ARNG.
This job does not have a qualification requirement that allows substitution of education for specialized experience.
