AmeriCorps NCCC is a full-time, team-based national service program for men and women ages 18-26. The program is designed to strengthen communities and develop leaders through direct, team-based national and community service projects. This position will manage teams of young adults in our Summer of Service program.
The stated salary does not include locality pay. Remote employees receive the locality rate associated with the location of their worksite, typically the employee's residence.

This position is located in the Department of the Chief Program Office, AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps).
The Unit Leader is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of assigned Team Leaders (who in turn manage a group of Corps Members) to facilitate the successful completion of multiple service projects. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
If you are qualifying based on education alone, you must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Such education must be from an accredited institution and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work. You must submit an unofficial copy of your college transcript. You must submit evidence that any education completed in a foreign institution is equivalent to U.S. educational standards.
You may also qualify based on a combination of education and experience, if applicable.
If you are a male applicant who was born after 12/31/59 and are required to register under the Military Selective Service Act, the Defense Authorization Act of 1986 requires that you be registered or you are not eligible for appointment in this agency.
