The purpose of this position is to effectively manage the continuous operation, maintenance, and repair/rehabilitation of water and wastewater utility systems within Shenandoah National Park (SNP). Systems include potable water pumping, storage, transmission, treatment and distribution systems; wastewater collection, storage and treatment systems; chlorination systems; and state certified potable water and wastewater quality testing laboratories. Duties include:

A relocation incentive is not the same as a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move and, as such, may be granted in conjunction with one another.
