The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs. Identify new processes, techniques, and
procedures to upgrade and enhance security protocols.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of new technology and other developments in the field of
information technology. Interpret and evaluate proposed legislation and broad-based policies
concerning IT.
Develop, recommend, and implement approved security contingency plans, incident response plans, and disaster recovery procedures.
Represent the organization with Departmental and multi-agency work groups focused on issues of systems security. Provide technical leadership on group projects.
Assess potential impact on existing program requirements. Evaluate the feasibility of implementing new developments to enhance systems security and reliability.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

Experience as a Lead Architect for development using multiple programming languages to develop or maintain web-based applications that required SharePoint, Visual Studio, C#, .NET, ASP.NET; AND
Experience with cloud-based technologies, SharePoint, MS PowerApps, Dynamics 365, Office 365, and Power BI; AND
Experience with customer engagement, interacting with customers to gather requirements and define project scope; AND
Experience utilizing Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration Continuous Development CI/CD to perform vulnerability scans, automation processes in Azure, automated report compliance and leading the end-to-end process of obtaining and maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) and ensure security compliance, Security Readiness Reviews (SRRs).
