As a Supply Systems Analyst, you will:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-09, in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position is defined as: 1) Performing analytical work and functional support for the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of a variety of supply systems and software programs; 2) assisting in the evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations; and 3) working with different business organizations to address issues and resolve system performance conflicts.
You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
GS-12: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position is defined as: 1) independently identifying through analysis where implementations, upgrades, and maintenance is needed for supply systems and software programs; 2) conducting validity studies to determine whether proposed changes to automated supply systems meet functional requirements; and 3) utilizing specialized knowledge of both supply systems and information technology to coordinate and work with other business organizations to resolve complex and controversial supply program issues.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-12 level.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
