Remote Positions at CMS: This is a remote position; however, the position reports to a CMS Office on a periodic basis (e.g. 1-2 times per year). This position is designated as remote and must be outside of the Greater Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area. This position may be in a different location than the Supervisor. In the event of a catastrophic disaster or other event(s) that would require the Office of Acquisition and Grants Management (OAGM) to implement Continuity of Operations (COOP) protocol, the incumbent would be required to continue their duties and execute mission-critical contracts on behalf of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)/OAGM. The incumbent also may be required to travel to the nearest CMS Regional Office or CMS Headquarters for administrative issues.
