The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Federally Funded Research and Development (FFRDC) Enterprise Cybersecurity Analyst and SME for Cybersecurity/Vulnerability Assessment. 1. Administers the A&A process for the FFRDCs. Develops processes and procedures to efficiently review, assess and provide authorization determinations for all FFRDC classified systems in accordance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) for the AO.
2. Manage cyberspace operations, situational awareness of the FFRDC Classified Processing Systems, and Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) mission networks.
3. Provides Cyber Security Support to the SAF/CIO and AF AO: Provides guidance, clarification to ensure RMF A&A program is effectively implemented in accordance with Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications for new programs, system upgrades and modifications, and existing legacy systems in accordance DoD and AF guidance.
4. Builds collaborative teams across all levels of enterprise stakeholders, Program Management Offices (PMOs), decision makers, policy leaders and outside component peers to find solutions. Participates as the principal representative to MAJCOM, 24th, Cyber Command, and in all working groups, operational assessment teams and any other meetings that will have impact on the FFRDC enterprise.
5. Represents the AF Enterprise AO with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Agency, MAJCOM Cybersecurity Offices, Air Staff, AFNIC, Combatant Command, and DoD Cyber offices.
