The major duties of the Program Manager (Biological Resources) position include, but are not limited to, the following:
To qualify for the Program Manager position at the GS-15 grade, you must meet the following minimum qualifications by the closing date of this announcement:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include all of the following: Experience providing strategic direction, guidance, and oversight that is required for all aspects of program management to ensure mission accomplishment and financial accountability; Experience applying biological resource management, policy, and planning toward federal land management using appropriate sientific and technical expertise in a rigorous manner.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the grade level(s) of this announcement.
