Responsible for implementing and overseeing 354 FSS content/social media program strategy. Under the direct supervision of the Supervisory Marketing Director, within guidelines, develops FSS strategy and implements tactical plans including building traffic, inciting engagement and growing community social media involvement and tracking and reporting metrics. Responsible for creating, editing, publishing, administering, and removing social media content. Must be mobile and may be subject to irregular duty hours for event coverage after hours and weekends to offer media support/live streaming to our social media platforms. Prepares video presentations to promote FSS events and activities.
Maintains social media content including, but not limited to; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Mobile Application. Tracks user analytics for each social media platform. Continuously explores, recommends, uses, and optimizes communication methods and technologies to engage with customers and to maximize the squadron's branding, products, and services. Identifies relevant new strategies and technology to increase customer engagement and to create online brand exposure. Makes use of a variety of artistic techniques through video/design software for digital media. Administers surveys, focus groups, collects data, tabulates responses, and assists the Marketing Director in analyzing results. Makes recommendations to the Marketing Director on program modifications and enhancements. Assists the Marketing Director in developing communication strategies to determine the most effective and efficient method of reaching the target market. Assists in the distribution of publicity materials to all activities.
