As the Engineering Equipment Operator in this position, you will: serve as an Engineering Equipment Operator in the Lakeview District. The primary purpose of this position is to operate a variety of gasoline and/or diesel-powered engineering and construction heavy equipment, performing a multitude of tasks in all types of terrain and environments. The incumbent is supervised by the Assistant Field Manager and works as part of a team to perform maintenance work on roads, campgrounds, and recreational sites as well as range projects when needed. On occasions, the incumbent will be expected to work on their own with limited supervision and respond to unforeseen circumstances and work underway. The incumbent is required to operate commercial vehicles and must possess and maintain a valid state class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate special endorsements to perform the work of the position.
There is no education requirement or substitution for experience for this position.
