This Review Appraiser position is located in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) under the Chief, National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS). The FWS works with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. The NWRS conserves and manages more than 96 million terrestrial acres which provide public opportunities for wildlife-dependent recreation including hunting, fishing, and wildlife viewing.
This position will report to a Supervisory Review Appraiser within the FWS Appraisals and Valuations Branch, an independent branch in the headquarters Division of Realty that oversees FWS appraisals and valuations across the United States. The position will conduct and review less complex appraisal assignments with an estimated value of under $1M to support the agency's mission of conserving, protecting, and enhancing fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
