The Budget Analyst position is located in the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Budget Division (BUD), Budget Formulation Branch. This position will report to the Chief of the Budget Formulation Branch, Budget Division (BUD), Department of Administrative Services (DAS). The BUD is seeking a self-motivated, professional Budget Analyst to join its team. You will be part of a dedicated support team striving to enable the achievement of the constitutional and statutory mission goal of the judicial branch of government - to provide equal justice under law.
The BUD prepares the Judiciary's annual budget request to Congress, oversees the execution of the Judiciary's budget, allocates resources, monitors spending, and produces financial projections, special analyses, and reports on Judiciary budgetary issues. The Division's work includes budget formulation, budget execution, and program budgeting and analysis. The BUD also provides staff support to the Budget Committee of the Judicial Conference and to the Committee's Economy Subcommittee.
