This position is a Student Intern assigned to the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG). The incumbent of this position will work within the Office of the Deputy Inspector General for Investigations (DIG INV), Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS). They will be responsible for assisting DCIS Special Agents (SAs) on complex investigations as well as working independently on routine investigative tasks such as document reviews, data analysis, and public records check.

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience:
GS-04 I have Two years of successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation, or the equivalent, is a prerequisite may be substituted to meet the general experience required.
GS-05 A four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement.
