This position is located within the Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Trademark Operations. The Office is charged with the legal examination of applications and documents filed for the registration and maintenance of trademarks pursuant to the Trademark Act and several international treaties.
As the Trademark IT Legal Administrator for Examination Systems (Senior Administrator for Legal Exam Systems), your colleagues will comprise of highly skilled team members with expertise in trademark law, business, data and project management, and IT, working together to ensure that our electronic examination systems are timely developed and improved to support evolving law and policy, efficient workflow, high quality service and IT resilience.

The Professional Technical Qualifications for this position are:
Candidates must have successfully completed a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and have a professional law degree; and must be an active member in good standing of the bar of a State or Territory of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Probationary Period: You will be required to serve a two-year probationary period.
Relocation expenses are not authorized and will be paid.
