Help

Plans, develops, coordinates, integrates, and oversees EEO projects and studies.
Studies and evaluates new and complex legislation, policies, directives, regulations, and procedures related to EEO in working draft and final form.
Manages continuing and special projects related to strategic planning and analysis, program evaluation, annual/multi-year and other long-range fiscal resource planning, and/or manpower requirements for the regional EEO program.
Researches, reviews and evaluates EEO organizational structure throughout USACE to ensure that assigned manpower and resources are used with the optimum balance among economy, efficiency, quality, skill utilization, and mission accomplishment.
Provides expert advice, assistance, and instructions to subordinate EEO offices, ensuring broad coverage, consideration and application of Federal, Department of Army, and USACE EEO policies, laws, rules, and regulations.
Reviews systemic factors related to EEO program effectiveness such as regulatory compliance, work-flow, quality controls and availability of necessary resources; recommends corrective action as needed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Interpreting Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws or regulations to recommend program or policy changes, AND 2) Analyzing an EEO program for compliance with established regulations, AND 3) Advising managers on EEO program processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
