The incumbent reports to and supports the Senior Advisor for Climate, Partnerships and Innovation to ensure the technical integrity of USTDA's activities advancing deployment of climate-smart infrastructure in developing and middle-income countries, and in maintaining strategic partnerships with the private sector, industry organizations, multilateral institutions, U.S. Federal government agencies, and non-governmental organizations.

Provides advice and expertise on climate change mitigation and adaptation policies, technologies, and financing strategies relevant to infrastructure development in developing and middle income countries.
Develops and implements outreach strategies to strengthen and build partnerships in support of USTDA's climate-related programs and other priority initiatives.
Trains staff on USTDA climate-related activities, provides guidance on climate change and related issues, and contributes to program staff's design of innovative climate-related activities, projects and initiatives.
Drafts briefing materials, talking points, fact sheets, reports, policy documents and other work products to support USTDA's engagement on climate-related issues and other priority topics as assigned.
Plans and organizes meetings and events to showcase and advance USTDA's climate-related programming.
Prepares and delivers briefings and presentations on USTDA and government-wide climate change initiatives and represents USTDA in meetings and other forums.
