As a Industrial Property Management Specialist, you will:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: You must meet the Basic Requirement described in the "Education Requirements" section under this Qualifications section. In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement, you must meet the following:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.
For the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
1. Applies Federal, State, and local laws, regulations and of procedures applicable to asset and property management. AND
2. Performs administration of a personal property management program which provides for effective management of personal property in the custody of multiple contractors and subcontractors. AND
3. Evaluates reports, regulations, and other relevant material sufficient to develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures on the acquisition or disposition of property assets.
For the GS-12 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
1. Evaluates reports, regulations, and other relevant material sufficient to recommend changes to procedures on the acquisition or disposition of property assets. AND
2. Assists in the administrative functions and contractor oversight involving property management by multiple contractors and subcontractors. AND
3. Participates in evaluating the effectiveness of the contractor's procedures, for effecting property disposal actions of an unusual nature; and to monitor the contractor's disposition of excess or surplus property.
