This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin,Office of Audit- Deputy Inspector General for Audits. The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Assist the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of national data extraction applications providing assistance to TIGTA staff.
- Coordinate enhancements for data extraction and delivery of electronic files to the off-the-shelf software formats utilized on TIGTA's computer equipment located throughout the country.
- Provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
-Recommend to management that significantly influence important IT policies or programs throughout TIGTA.
- Support the Information Security Program to protect taxpayer data.
