STANDING REGISTER: This is a Standing Register (Open Continuous) announcement for GS-0085-06, Security Guard positions. The initial cut-off date for referral is 22 May 2023; after this date, additional cut-off dates will be established as vacancies occur, until the closing date of the announcement.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes protecting personnel, property, maintaining order, and/or protecting life; and preventing unauthorized access to restricted areas. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
