This position is located in Canaveral National Seashore, under the direction of the Superintendent.
This position coordinates Recreation Fee projects and expenditures for the parks. The incumbent will work with the Interpretive Managers, Cost of Collection Managers, Facility Manager and Administrative Officer to create, plan and write all projects Recreation Fee program and is responsible for a "cradle to grave" development, collaboration and oversight of Recreation Fee projects.

Physical Demands: The work is approximately 35% of an active nature associated with on-site inspection and coordination of construction and engineering work required for construction projects, including but not limited to, walking, bending, stooping, etc. Approximately 65% of the work is of sedentary nature. Although most of the sites are within a day's trip from the office, project activities may require overnight stays.
Working Conditions: An active portion of the work takes place in the outside environment. The outside weather ranges from hot to cold; in wooded areas, under seashore/ocean conditions and urban conditions. The sedentary portion of the work is performed in an office setting. Some hazards may be encountered, typical of any construction project while others may be typical to historic structures and landscapes that have been poorly maintained.You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
