Independently performs professional legal work as an Attorney-Adviser in the Southwestern Power Administration's Office of General Counsel, primarily in the fields of administrative law: to include environmental law, real property law, personnel law, labor law, procurement law, and civil litigation. Supports General Counsel on power marketing and energy law issues as directed. Performs other Attorney-Adviser duties as assigned.

One additional year of professional (attorney) experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility at least equivalent to that of an attorney at the grade immediately below the one being filled (at the GS-13), providing legal advice and guidance to management, peers, and customers on various complex areas of law on behalf of a Federal agency/sub-agency or similar civilian institution.
