Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: planning, conducting, and reviewing analyses using techniques such as regression analysis, statistical analysis, modeling, mathematical programming, and machine learning; interpreting and analyzing results from data collected using statistical programming languages and/or software (such as Python, R, SAS, and Stata); using data visualization software such as Tableau, Qlikview, ArcGIS, MATLAB; incorporating a variety of data sources to identify and address potential issues related to accessing, analyzing and using data; using advanced data science technologies and techniques to collect, extract, guide, clean, and transform data; writing reports or publications and conducting presentations; collaborating and communicating with individuals within the scientific community; facilitating work across teams.
