This position is within the Division of Clinical and Community Services (DCCS), Office of Clinical and Preventive Services (OCPS). The purpose of this position is to serve as the technical expert of the Community Health Aide specialty area and workforce, as well as advisement to Area project officers, DCCS staff, and other Community Health Aide Program (CHAP) stakeholders. This position reports to the Director, DCCS.

Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee. IHS may offer newly-appointed Federal employees credit for their directly related previous non-federal experience or active duty uniformed military service. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave.
