This is a remote SUMMER 2021 internship position. The National Credit Union Administration is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for exciting internship positions. The Pathways Summer Intern Program provides paid work experiences for students to work in the communications, policy, business and other fields.
These positions are temporary, not to exceed 90 days. In rare and unusual circumstances, this position may be extended or non-competitively converted to a permanent position.

The incumbent of this position will serve as a Student Trainee (IT-Cyber Security) in the Office of the Chief Information Officer.
As a Student Trainee (IT Cybersecurity), you will:
CU-04: Completion of two years post-high school education (60 semester hours, 90 quarters hours, or equivalent).
At the time of application, all applicants must submit proof of current enrollment in a degree-seeking program and provide transcripts to support all educational claims. Transcripts may be unofficial copies at time of application to this announcement, but they must come from an accredited college or university, and they must include course names and the number of semester/quarter hours. If you are currently enrolled but in your last semester/quarter of completing your degree/certificate requirements, you must provide proof of continuing education, such as an acceptance letter as part of your application.
If selected for this position, you must provide proof of continuing education through either the summer or fall 2021 semesters and official copies of your transcripts must be sent to and received by the NCUA prior to your employment start date.
All education must be accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

VETERANS: You must submit a copy of your Veteran's Documentation DD-214 (Member 4 copy preferred, however documentation provided must contain dates and character of service), VA letter, SF-15.
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Therefore, provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
