The Sacramento VA Medical Center is looking for a full-time Neurologist with subspecialty training in neuromuscular medicine, BC/BE. Qualified incumbent will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with neurological disorders. Preference is given to fellowship trained candidates with experience in clinical and investigative aspects of neuromuscular medicine. Responsibilities include inpatient, outpatient (general neurology, neuromuscular/ALS, EMG/NCV clinics) and rotating on-call coverage after hours and weekends. On call coverage is via telehealth (not in person). The candidate will work closely with four other Neurologists and a Neurology nurse practitioner each with different sub- specialty training and interests. Work life balance is a reality! An academic appointment with UC Davis School of Medicine is a distinct possibility, opportunities for teaching and research abound.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 430pm, 40-hour work week.
