You will provide assistance to the Field Office Director (FOD) and the Deputy Field Office Director (DFOD) in managing the day-to-day operations and procedures of the enforcement and removal activity throughout the Field Office area of responsibility. Specifically, you will: Provide assistance in adjudicating applications for Stays of Deportation, and ascertain that all decisions based upon the appropriate exercise of discretion fall within policy guidelines, meet the requirement of previous precedent decisions, and be defensible upon appeal to the courts;
