The Maritime Administration (MARAD) Fellows Program is exclusively for graduates of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) and the six State Maritime Academies (SMAs) who participated in the Student Incentive Program (SIP) and have a service obligation to fulfill following graduation. Employment in a maritime position with MARAD fulfills this obligation. These position's are located in the Office of Ship Operations of MARAD. Work is performed in one of the field divisions (Gulf or Pacific).

As an Marine Transportation Specialist in the Fellows Program, you will:
The ideal candidate will serve as an entry level employee assigned to perform various duties as they relate to program management, engineering programs, and marine transportation operations.
