IT Specialists (INFOSEC) are a mission critical occupation for HRSA. These positions are responsible for the analysis of system and/or security requirements, the development and implementation of mission critical applications for the agency's Information Technology operations.
There are two positions available in the branches below:
Systems Architecture & Delivery Branch (SADB) - This branch oversees the architecture, development, modernization, and enhancement of HRSA's electronic handbooks (EHBs). The EHBs software at its core currently uses Microsoft .net framework, SQL server databases and several other related tools and technologies.
Custom Applications Branch (CAB) - This branch oversees the architecture, development, modernization, and enhancement of HRSA's enterprise custom applications. The custom applications at its core currently use Microsoft .net framework, SQL server databases and several other related tools (Jira) and technologies.
As Branch Chief, you will serve as a recognized technical expert in IT security and provide critical program development and project leadership contributions to designated DESAM operation and strategic initiatives. This work affects the ability of OIT/DESAM to provide quality IT support and in the delivery of cost-effective, customer focused products and services that support HRSA business needs to mission requirements.
