At the GS-14 full performance level, the incumbent will:
Applicants must have a law degree from an ABA accredited law school and be licensed to practice law as an attorney under the laws of a state, territory or the District of Columbia. Transcripts must be provided.

This position is located in the Office of Hearings and Appeals, (OHA), National Appeal Division (NAD), assigned to a Regional Office. OHA, NAD, reports directly to the Secretary of Agriculture and is independent of other parts of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Pursuant to Federal law and regulations, OHA, NAD, accepts appeal requests from program participants who received an adverse decision related to USDA program benefits (e.g., agricultural commodities and conservation programs administered by the USDA Secretary) from USDA agencies.
