Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes leading a team; working with multiple social media platforms i.e., content generation, social media monitoring and performance. Evaluating campaign effectiveness, email marketing, blogs and other digital tools. Experience with social media writing styles; published samples of blogs, op-eds, and talking points, and advising senior leadership on social media components for strategic communications plans.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at this level.
