This position will allow you to use your expertise in administration to provide advisory and technical services to higher DHS officials and drawback claimants within the scope of admissibility, entry, import and manufacturing of merchandise and revenue collection. This position starts at a salary of $105,335 (GS-13, Step 1) to $136,936 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $136,936 (GS-13, Step 10). In this position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to perform homeland security functions by becoming a valuable member of a team of commercial, inspection, entry, liquidation, and Customs Officer employees. Typical duty assignments include:

Training: You may be required to attend one to two weeks of paid training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Charleston, SC.
Supervisory Probationary Period: You may be required to serve an 18 month probationary period upon appointment and complete a supervisory training course within 12 months of assignment.
Supervisory Training: All newly appointed,first-time permanent CBP Supervisors are required to complete mandatory training. The training will be scheduled by the Office of Training and Development within the first 90 days of appointment. The duration of the training will include SLT three (3) weeks, of in residence training in Harpers Ferry, WV. Note: This training may be waived if previously completed.
Travel: This job may require some travel. Applicants should possess a valid driver's license.
