This announcement is for Pathways Internship (NTE) Program position which provides opportunities for vocational and technical, undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to gain work experience while pursuing their education. The salary listed in the vacancy announcement does not include the geographical locality pay. Additional selections may be made within the same geographical area in the Food and Drug Administration.
These positions are located in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Students must be able to work at one of the following locations listed in the vacancy announcement.

APPOINTMENT DURATION/EXPECTATION: Interns will be appointed to a temporary appointment not-to-exceed September 30, 2018 and will not be extended. Appointment is based on continued need/funds for the position and the student's continued compliance in the Pathways Internship Program and will not be non-competitively converted to a term (not-to-exceed one to four years) or permanent appointment in the competitive service.
WORK SCHEDULE: Interns may work full-time or part-time schedules. Part-time hours may be 16-32 hours per week.
