This position will be responsible for collaborating with the enterprise network team to design, develop and maintain the cyber security architecture. The work includes reviewing proposed new systems, networks and software designs for potential security risks, recommending mitigations or countermeasures, and resolving integration issues. The work includes drafting, reviewing, and validating security documentation such as system security plans, risk assessments, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity plans. This position will help identity the need for changes based on new technologies or threats. This position will support Risk Management Framework activities required for authorization and approval of N9 enterprise systems.
Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain all information security certifications required by the position.

Knowledge and skill in applying IT security principles and methods, requirements analysis principles and methods, and analytical ability. Knowledge of requirements for certification and accreditation, network operations and protocols, IT security products and services, and systems security regulations and policies. Ability to: plan and conduct security accreditation reviews for installed systems or networks; recommend new or revised security measures and countermeasures based on the results of the accreditation reviews; evaluate and recommend IT security tools, procedures, and practices to protect information assets; and develop specifications and procedures to ensure compliance with security requirements at the systems or network level.
To qualify, applicant must possess a degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, business administration; OR a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications and systems or 3 years of general experience as well as 3 years of specialized experience.
