The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Department of Justice, is seeking an experienced attorney to work as a Division Counsel in the Office of Training of DEA. The position is part of the staff of DEA, Office of Chief Counsel, Administrative and General Law Section, and is located in Quantico, Virginia.
The Division Counsel is involved in all administrative law matters and issues concerning the Office of Training, including. This includes (1) employment and personnel law; (2) general training legal support, including guidance on the Rehabilitation Act; (3) ethics and compliance, including guidance on DEA standards of conduct; (4) information law issues, such as FOIA and E-Government issues; and (5) fiscal and contract law, including contract protests and memoranda of understanding.
