This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. You will serve as a student trainee receiving on-the-job training in technical aspects of CFPB’s work. You may be assigned to various organizations within CFPB and will perform assignments under the close supervision of a higher level analyst.
CFPB Pathways candidates will meet the qualification requirements consistent with CFPB and the OPM qualification standards applicable to the position being filled.
The classification of the Recent Graduate positions (series and grade) will depend upon the field of study and level of course work of the candidate.

Qualification requirements depend on the job being filled.
U.S. citizenship is required.

To be eligible for conversion to the competitive service after completion of the program, a Pathways Recent Graduate must:
1) Be a U.S. Citizen.
2) Successfully complete an academic course of study as evidenced by a qualifying degree or be within 9 months of graduation.
3) Meet the OPM qualification standard for the position to which the Recent Graduate may be converted.
4) Maintain acceptable performance under the Bureau's approved performance management system.
5) Receive a favorable recommendation for conversion from Supervisor.
6) Meet all the training and development requirements outlined the Bureau’s Pathways policy.
