Duties
The position is located in NEXCOM Equal Employment Opportunity Office and directs NEXCOM Enterprise Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program that includes complaint processing, reasonable accommodations, training and compliance, and MD-715 (affirmative employment programs) for over 11,000 employees across six business lines. The EEO Director is delegated the responsibility for the development and administration of NEXCOM-wide policies, programs and procedures, and guidance to ensure successful accomplishment of all aspects of the EEO Program. The EEO Director serves as the primary advisor and subject matter expert to the CEO, CHRO, management officials, and associates.

Qualifications
A total of 8 years' experience consisting of the following:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years of responsible experience in non-routine professional level work in which the applicant demonstrated skill in identifying, investigating, and analyzing problems; applying sound judgment in assessing the implications of alternative solutions; communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing; and working with employees at all organizational levels and of diverse social and economic backgrounds to accomplish business objectives and resolve problems.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1 year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 6 months experience, up to a maximum of 2 years for a bachelor's degree or a maximum of 3 years for a master's degree.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 5 years of progressively responsible, professional level experience in Human Resource management work in areas such as Equal Employment Opportunity, Employee Relations, Mediation and Dispute Resolution, which provided a thorough understanding of Equal Opportunity laws, regulations, and programs.
