Duties
- Works is performed under general supervision and reviewed for compliance with instructions and standards of production and quality. Supervisor is available for advice and instruction on new or unusual procedures.
- Performs a variety of tasks performing several steps or sequences of tasks that require attention to work operations in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures.
- In accordance with current menu, prepares and combines fruits and vegetables for salads. Makes simple sandwiches and performs other simple food preparation.
- Responsible for proper slicing of deli meats and cheeses and cutting of fruits and vegetables for garnish.
- In accordance with customer?s orders, processes and organizes food, arranges garnishes, checks for appearance, quality and quantity and ensures proper presentation in accordance with set standards. Operates a cash register.

Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
- A one year probationary period may be required
- Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. Certificate of Medical Examination required. Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
- In consideration of COVID-19, personnel within this area routinely wear personal protective equipment (cloth face coverings, latex gloves, and face shields) while performing their regular duties.

2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
3. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and/or nonalcoholic beverages.
