The incumbent is the presale lead on the Blue Mountain and Prairie City Ranger Districts of the zoned timber shop. The duties include assembling the timber sale contract package, determining the type and intensity of cruise needed, and coordinates acreage determination by GPS. It also includes overseeing the cruising and marking of timber and prepares logging plans and verifies logging system settings. Participate on IDT teams as logging systems specialist, and runs the economic analysis and prepares the write up for the project.
