The Pharmacoeconomics Program Manager (PEPM) should preferably have experience in formulary management, quality analysis/quality improvement projects, teaching and mentoring pharmacy residents and students, and clinical practice. The PEPM should have solid knowledge of inpatient and outpatient VISTA packages, CPRS, and CMOP. They will be expected to design, coordinate, and implement pharmacoeconomic protocols related to high cost and high-risk medications, provide education to clinicians to assure optimal pharmaceutical care, collaborate with the VISN Pharmacoeonomics Workgroup and assist the Service Chief and Pharmacy Leadership to develop and manage the pharmacy medication budget through cost saving and cost avoidance initiatives and create reports and presentation in graphical and other appropriate formats.

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP):This position may be eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program within VHA. If selected for this position you must meet specific individual eligibility criteria in accordance with VHA policy 1021 and apply for EDRP within four (4) months of appointment. Final award amount and program start date is determined after review of a complete EDRP application and supporting documentation by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services office.
