You may qualify at the GS-05 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualification requirements:
One year of specialized experience that is directly related to this position being filled and is equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service that included performing administrative functions (e.g., payroll, personnel, travel, and/or correspondence); reading and applying Federal regulations and agency policy concerning preparing travel and time-keeping records and documents; completing tasks using spreadsheets, word processing, and web-based applications for processing time-keeping and travel management; applying organization's rules, procedures, operations, or business practices in order to understand the issues involved in assignments to determine what steps and procedures are necessary; work with program managers to resolve software system issues or clarify policy application questions using office procedures and equipment to create reports, charts, and correspondence; and overseeing procurement and reconciliations. Your resume should reflect your ability to interact with customers, clientele, or other outside parties. ; OR
Completed 4 years above high school; OR
Have a combination of education and experience as listed above. Note: only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.
