The Alaska District is seeking to fill an Intern GS-04 Civil Engineer position located in the Engineering Construction and Operations Division, Operations Branch during the summer months (May - September) but not to exceed 120 days. An ideal candidate will have strong experience in basic civil engineering with Auto Cad skills. The position requires learning about the Alaska District's dredging and harbor maintenance program. The incumbent will learn to use automated databases to collect and analyze maintenance data, collect and organize field data, and assemble project data from existing and field sources into basic civil engineering designs. Able to work closely under the supervision of project managers, and willing to learn new skills.
